Overview
As a Retail Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in driving operational efficiency and delivering outstanding customer and associate experiences. You will foster meaningful collaborations, apply curiosity and problem-solving skills to nurture business growth, and cultivate a high-performing, results-driven, customer-centric environment through leadership and coaching.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer service, engage customers with tailored products and services, and manage escalated situations, especially fostering long-term relationships with business clients.
- Drive a motivated and recognition-based sales culture, enabling sales associates to excel through leadership and data-driven action plans based on sales and performance metrics.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and develop team members, providing consistent coaching and feedback to support career growth and managing performance evaluations and career planning.
- Ensure operational excellence by maintaining compliance with health and safety, asset protection, privacy regulations, company policies, and procedures. Oversee inventory control, merchandising, and adherence to brand standards.
- Maintain regular communication within the team to ensure consistent execution of sales and customer engagement strategies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of retail management experience with direct responsibility for achieving sales and service goals.
- Proven leadership skills in coaching, developing talent, and managing teams focused on customer service and sales performance.
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills that inspire and motivate others.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational, prioritization, and multitasking capabilities.
