Role Overview

As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in leading a passionate team to consistently deliver outstanding customer service. Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire your team daily by example
  • Support the Store Manager in coaching and developing team members' skills and knowledge
  • Consistently deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Promote and maintain a strong safety culture within the team
  • Assist with effective stock management and uphold stock integrity procedures
  • Support visual merchandising standards and ensure stock displays meet guidelines
  • Stay informed on pet care, products, and services to demonstrate initiative
  • Recruit, onboard, and induct new high-quality team members
  • Foster a fun and supportive in-store environment that encourages team engagement
  • Encourage and support local marketing activities and sponsorships
