Role Overview
The Restaurant Team Member position focuses on creating outstanding guest experiences in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Whether greeting customers or preparing beloved bakery items, your enthusiasm for excellent service will distinguish you as a vital part of the team.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet every customer and maintain friendliness consistently.
- Deliver prompt, courteous, and accurate service to all guests.
- Address simple customer inquiries, escalating complex issues to a Manager.
- Prepare and store food safely while keeping preparation areas clean, following all Health & Safety and audit requirements.
- Perform and record regular temperature checks according to company procedures.
- Complete scheduled daily and weekly cleaning tasks as outlined in cleaning charts.
- Adhere strictly to critical standards involving product quality, service speed, cleanliness, and sanitation.
- Follow restaurant performance benchmarks for workstations as directed by shift managers.
- Be aware of and actively contribute toward the restaurant’s goals and targets.
- Maintain kitchen and operation stations to ensure exceptional cleanliness and convenience for customers, including restocking duties.
- Report any work-related near misses, injuries, or illnesses promptly.
- Comply with safety protocols and instructions, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates are positive team players with previous customer service experience in fast-paced, energetic environments. Excellent communication skills and a strong customer-first mindset are essential. Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends, is required. A passion for delivering outstanding customer service and a keen interest in coffee are highly valued.
