Reset Merchandiser - Southeast

Overview

Acosta is seeking dependable team members to join their retail merchandising group supporting a prominent grocery retailer in the Southeast. This position involves hands-on, detail-focused physical work to execute store layout resets and remodels with accuracy and efficiency.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting wage is $15.00 per hour, subject to candidate experience and location.

Work Schedule

• Consistent Monday to Thursday shifts from 5:00 AM to 3:30 PM.
• Early start shifts allow for earlier completion of workdays.
• Potential 4-day workweek options exist for many teams.
• Possible downtime during main holiday periods.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow planograms carefully to carry out reset and remodeling projects accurately.
• Physically move and clean shelves, install racks and fixtures, and organize merchandise properly.
• Place shelf tags and strip labels correctly while preserving the integrity of planograms.
• Manage pack-outs, restocks, and reorders efficiently.
• Collaborate with store staff and team members to maintain merchandising standards.
• Use web-based tools to manage schedules, assignments, timekeeping, mileage, and expenses.
• Accurately complete required documentation.

Qualifications and Skills

• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel among store locations.
• Experience interpreting and using planograms is required.
• Prior grocery reset experience is highly preferred.
• Professional demeanor and a strong commitment to work ethic.
• Access to a computer with internet, email, and printing capabilities is necessary.
• Comfortable using smartphones and handheld devices.
• Ability to lift and carry weights up to 60 pounds.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness or ability to operate basic hand tools including drills, screwdrivers, and case cutters.
• Capable of safely climbing and standing on ladders or step stools as required.
