Job Overview

Join Delta Hotels and Resorts as a Reservations Agent responsible for managing reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations via phone, fax, or mail. The role involves identifying guest accommodation needs, ensuring the availability of the appropriate room type, and communicating policies regarding guarantees, special rates, and cancellations. You will also handle special requests, provide information about property facilities, and leverage sales techniques to enhance revenue.

Key Duties

• Accurately input and retrieve data in the reservation system.
• Mark special reservation categories such as complimentary stays, employee discounts, and travel agent rates with proper codes and rates.
• Adhere to escalation procedures to resolve guest concerns effectively.
• Maintain confidentiality, protect company assets, and ensure the privacy and security of guests and coworkers.
• Act professionally in appearance and communication, welcoming guests warmly and addressing their service requirements, including assisting guests with disabilities.
• Collaborate with coworkers, support team goals, and respond constructively to colleagues' concerns.
• Meet quality assurance standards consistently.
• Perform physical tasks involving moving objects up to 10 pounds.
• Carry out additional reasonable duties as directed by supervisors.

Qualifications and Experience

Applicants should have a high school diploma or a G.E.D. equivalent. No prior work or supervisory experience is necessary. No licenses or certifications are required.
