Job description
Position Overview
The Reservation Executive will be responsible for ensuring accurate management of room blocks, reservations, and group market codes. This role involves processing all reservation-related requests, including changes and cancellations received through multiple channels like phone, fax, or mail, and addressing guest queries about room types, rates, and hotel facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy of bookings and maintain group market codes efficiently.
- Communicate company values and culture to newly hired employees.
- Review and implement updated reservation procedures.
- Process reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations across various communication mediums.
- Identify guest needs and recommend suitable room types while verifying availability and rates.
- Explain guarantee policies, special rates, and cancellation terms clearly to callers.
- Handle special guest requests and document them appropriately.
- Employ sales techniques to optimize revenue.
- Use the reservation system for data input and access.
- Resolve challenges related to room accommodations or escalate if necessary.
- Set up billing accounts following accounting standards.
- Troubleshoot and document guest concerns, escalating when required.
- Participate in employee training, scheduling, counseling, motivation, and coaching, serving as a role model and first contact for fair treatment policies.
- Adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential and proprietary information.
- Greet and acknowledge guests in line with company standards, anticipate their service needs, and express sincere appreciation.
- Communicate professionally both verbally and in writing, including telephone etiquette.
- Foster positive working relationships and comply with quality assurance standards.
- Perform tasks requiring visual verification as well as handling objects up to 10 pounds.
- Carry out other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum education: High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- At least 2 years of experience in a related role.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.
- No specific licenses or certifications required.

Position is full-time, non-management, and located onsite at Wardha Road, Opp. MIHAN Flyover, Nagpur, Maharashtra, India.
