Primary Responsibilities
- Establish and uphold structured Requirement Management hierarchies, attributes, and classification systems compliant with Siemens standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Requirement Management Plan along with its processes.
- Identify, gather, and integrate diverse requirement sources such as customer needs, standards, and contractual commitments into management systems.
- Create and manage databases, functional specs, and system requirement documentation utilizing DOORS and similar tools.
- Ensure requirements traceability, integrity, and lifecycle oversight at all times.
- Oversee requirement baseline management and documentation maintenance.
- Facilitate system engineering activities pertaining to requirements specification, breakdown, and allocation across subsystems and interfaces.
- Collaborate with requirement owners, engineering leads, and stakeholders for clear understanding and ownership.
- Support integration with RAMS, system architecture, and interface management tasks.
- Define and manage requirement verification methodologies with relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation and reports related to requirement verification and compliance.
- Integrate verification activities consistently with project-wide test strategies and plans.
- Coordinate with test, commissioning, and homologation teams to guarantee thorough requirement verification.
- Track and communicate the status, completeness, and compliance of requirements with project and procedural benchmarks.
- Monitor and address requirement-related risks, issues, and deviations.
- Assist in project milestone review preparation through delivery of Requirement Management artifacts.
- Ensure documentation quality, consistency, traceability, and version control meet high standards.
- Manage information flow and document oversight concerning requirements and verification procedures.
- Regularly assess and improve compliance with Requirement Management processes.
Qualification Criteria
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of proven experience in Requirement Management, System Engineering, or large-scale railway and infrastructure projects.
- In-depth understanding of Requirement Management processes, lifecycle methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Practical experience working with Requirement Management software, especially IBM DOORS.
- Strong grasp of System Engineering, integration, interface management, and verification protocols.
- Knowledge of railway or metro systems, RAMS concepts, and safety requirements is advantageous.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Capability to manage complex data sets ensuring accuracy, consistency, and traceability.
- Outstanding communication and coordination skills for collaboration within multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to operate effectively in structured, process-driven project environments.
- Proactive, organized, team-focused, and solution-oriented work ethic.
