About the Role
This position has been newly created to support our client's expansion plans, offering promising opportunities for an entry-level relationship manager within a prominent European bank with a global presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage relationships with assigned Correspondent Banks and Corporate clients.
- Support Headquarters in business development activities focused on Corporate clients in Singapore.
- Enhance the bank's visibility in Singapore by building and maintaining contacts within the local banking community and relevant institutions.
- Acquire an understanding of local regulatory requirements for Headquarters and client operations.
- Coordinate with headquarters across product, client servicing, and business support matters.
- Participate in banking meetings, corporate presentations, trade fairs, and similar events.
- Prepare documentation and research reports; assist with corporate client inquiries.
- Support communication related to Headquarters' trade services, including Documentary Credits (L/C), Guarantees, Trade Loans, and Clearing.
- Perform additional assignments as delegated by the Chief Representative.
Candidate Profile
- Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of verified experience in banking, specifically engaging in commercial activities with correspondent banks or corporate clients; experience in trade or financial institution departments is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the banking industry including regulations, markets, products, and services.
- Methodical in organization, planning, and following up on business matters.
- Excellent analytical aptitude with keen attention to detail.
- Proficient communication and interpersonal skills.
- Adept at drafting clear and concise reports, with strong organizational capabilities and prioritization skills.
- Result-driven and pragmatic approach to work.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team.
