Job Role and Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire import process ensuring complete compliance with Australian customs regulations.
• Manage shipping documentation and guarantee timely processing of import shipments.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders, suppliers, and internal departments to optimize logistics operations.
• Track shipment schedules and proactively resolve any delays or operational issues.
• Maintain meticulous records of all import transactions and associated paperwork.
• Assist with resolving customs and freight discrepancies as they arise.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards in transport.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts within the logistics team.

Qualifications and Skills

• Understanding of Australian customs regulations along with import process know-how.
• Minimum of one year of practical experience in import activities within logistics or transport and distribution sectors.
• Exceptional organizational and time management capabilities.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate document handling.
• Proficiency with logistics or shipping management software.
• Good communication skills and capacity to solve problems effectively.
• Self-motivated and flexible when addressing operational challenges.
