About the Role
Kickstart your career in banking by joining Kiwibank's Relationship Customer Onboarding team, dedicated to supporting Commercial and Corporate Business customers through their onboarding process. This role is based in Christchurch with flexible hybrid work options available in other locations as well.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing inbound and outbound customer communications.
- Conducting detailed customer due diligence with an emphasis on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Foreign Tax compliance.
- Collaborating closely with frontline teams and Customer Verification to ensure compliance obligations are fulfilled.
- Enhancing AML-CDD and Foreign Tax compliance for existing customers.
- Utilizing standardized procedures and digital platforms to streamline the customer onboarding journey.
- Setting up online banking services, accounts, and profiles within internal systems.
- Participating in continuous improvement projects and supporting process optimization initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Experience in contact centers, bank branches, or banking operations is essential.
- Proven capability to handle and resolve complex customer issues effectively.
- Confidence in managing outbound calls and email communications, focusing on building strong relationships.
- Sound knowledge of customer due diligence processes emphasizing AML and Foreign Tax compliance guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail, adherence to processes, and thorough documentation skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to digital tools and new technologies.
- An enthusiasm for driving and supporting process improvement efforts.
