Role Summary

This role involves providing comprehensive administrative and operational assistance to the Reinsurance team. Key tasks include managing treaty and facultative reinsurance documentation, conducting reconciliations, following up on claims, and preparing various reports.

Primary Duties

• Maintain accurate reinsurance records, registers, and databases.
• Prepare and oversee documents, contracts, and endorsements related to treaty and facultative reinsurance.
• Track and follow up on reinsurance claims, recoveries, and account balances.
• Perform reconciliation of reinsurance accounts and assist with quarterly financial closures.
• Liaise with brokers, reinsurers, Finance, and Claims departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor upcoming treaty renewals and expiration dates to enable timely actions.
• Compile reports, statistical data, and presentations for management review.
• Ensure thorough filing and documentation practices while supporting compliance with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Skills

• A bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline is required.
• Preference for candidates with a minimum of one year experience in insurance, reinsurance, or finance operations.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other reporting applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong communication and collaboration skills.
