Regulatory Reporting Accountant

About the Role

We are working alongside a prominent global banking institution to recruit a Regulatory Reporting Accountant to join their finance team in Dublin. This position provides a great chance for a certified accountant experienced in regulatory reporting to contribute within a well-respected organisation active in capital markets and banking sectors. The role involves significant engagement with senior leaders, regulatory agencies, and strategic reporting projects, along with hands-on involvement in automation and compliance-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and precise preparation, review, and submission of regulatory returns such as Liquidity returns, Statistical returns, CoRep, CCR, and Anacredit.
• Assist with responding to inquiries and requests from regulatory authorities.
• Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Risk, and Front Office departments to maintain accurate and comprehensive reporting.
• Lead initiatives aimed at improving regulatory reporting processes, enhancing automation, and increasing efficiency.
• Support implementation efforts related to regulatory changes and compliance projects.
• Produce regulatory reports and analyses for senior management and governance committees.

Requirements

• Qualification as an Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
• Over 3 years of post-qualification experience in regulatory reporting within the financial services sector.
• Comprehensive understanding of regulatory reporting requirements and submissions.
• Familiarity with banking regulations and regulatory reporting frameworks.
• High proficiency in Excel along with strong analytical skills.
• Excellent communication abilities and capacity to engage with various stakeholders.
• Experience using Axiom or comparable regulatory reporting platforms is a plus.
• Proactive and solution-oriented approach with enthusiasm for continuous process improvement.
