Job description
Job Overview
As a Regulatory Reporting Accountant reporting to the Head of Regulatory Reporting, you will ensure the organization fulfills its regulatory reporting responsibilities. The role provides flexibility to focus on areas aligned with your strongest expertise, while offering opportunities to expand knowledge in various regulatory topics and reporting requirements. The team operates in a flat structure encouraging cross-training and development according to individual interests.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparation, review, and submission of regulatory returns to the Central Bank of Ireland.
- Managing wholesale loans and Trade Finance data to secure precise and punctual regulatory reporting, including counterparty and product extensions, data sourcing and mapping, improvements to reporting frameworks, capital monitoring, and regulatory engagement.
- Coordinating with Financial Reporting, Front Office, Treasury, and Risk Management teams to ensure timely and accurate data submission for regulatory returns.
- Ensuring the regulatory reporting system (Axiom) is as automated and accurately integrated into processes as possible.
- Handling correspondence with the Central Bank of Ireland regarding regulatory return queries on an ad hoc basis.

Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive experience in regulatory reporting, treasury, or financial reporting within banking or financial services.
- Solid understanding of European banking regulations, emerging topics, industry best practices, and compliance standards in regulatory reporting.
- Proven ability to prepare prudential and statistical regulatory returns.
- Familiarity with automated regulatory reporting software; experience with Adenza’s Axiom SL is advantageous.
- Qualified or Part Qualified Accountant credentials preferred (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
Additional Information
This role operates on a hybrid working model with an expectation of three days per week in the office located in Dublin, County Dublin, Ireland.
