Overview

Susquehanna International Group seeks a Compliance Associate to reinforce essential elements of the firm's compliance and regulatory systems. This role involves providing pragmatic compliance advice to business and support teams, assisting with regulatory queries and investigations, executing assessments to detect potential compliance risks, and overseeing compliance policy maintenance. The position ensures consistent regulation interpretation, policy enforcement, and effective escalation of issues firm-wide, ideal for professionals who thrive in complex, fast-paced, and highly regulated environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer compliance advice and oversight to operational and support functions.
  • Support the response process for regulatory inquiries and compliance investigations.
  • Perform regular assessments to uncover and address possible compliance shortfalls.
  • Maintain and update compliance policies and procedures to align with regulatory mandates and practical application.
  • Collaborate closely with Trading Compliance to synchronize regulatory interpretations, policy implementation, and issue escalation approaches.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of three years' experience in compliance, demonstrating critical thinking, coordination, and project management skills.
  • Strong understanding of ASIC regulations and ASX Operating Rules.
  • Ability to work independently, effectively balancing multiple priorities in a dynamic setting.
  • Team-oriented with a collaborative approach across business units and support teams.
  • Robust analytical, problem-solving, and organizational capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills for building trust and conveying complex regulatory matters to diverse stakeholders.
