Job description
Overview
We are looking for a skilled Payroll Associate to join our team in Bhilai, with a role focused on managing monthly payroll processing, employee settlements, handling payroll inquiries, and maintaining related documentation. This position requires working Australian business hours during the morning shift and offers a full-time employment opportunity within a global outsourcing setup.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately prepare and submit monthly payroll data on time.
- Gather and validate payroll inputs such as attendance, leaves, deductions, and other relevant data.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure timely receipt of payroll information.
- Address and resolve payroll queries promptly.
- Keep precise records of employee attendance and leave.
- Review employee payroll files and documentation for completeness and accuracy.
- Administer employee reimbursements including medical, leave travel allowance, vehicle claims, etc.
- Ensure compliance in payroll processes and maintain relevant documentation.
- Work with the Finance team to guarantee timely and correct salary disbursements.
Full & Final Settlements
- Accurately execute Full & Final settlements for employees who have resigned.
- Track and maintain monthly MIS reports related to settlements and monitor their progress.
- Manage queries concerning settlements efficiently.
- Monitor employee recovery processes ensuring their prompt resolution.
- Liaise with Finance for correct and on-time settlement disbursal.
- Ensure prompt issuance of relieving letters and necessary documentation.
Candidate Profile
- Possess 2 to 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Strong understanding of payroll management and Full & Final settlement procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
- Keen attention to detail and high accuracy in work.
- Discretion and ability to handle confidential payroll information.
- Good coordination and follow-up capabilities.
- Willingness to work according to Australian business hours (morning shift).
