Job description
Position Summary
The ORS Psychology division is expanding and seeking a Registered Psychologist or Provisional Psychologist to join their national team. This role supports service delivery within the NDIS and private sectors, offering supervision, flexibility, and collaborative support tailored for both early career and experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
- Conduct a full spectrum of psychological assessments such as autism, ADHD, cognitive/IQ, psychoeducational, school readiness, mental health evaluations, and assessments of decision-making capacity.
- Provide services from Fyshwick or Mitchell clinics as part of a multidisciplinary team, or in community settings like family homes, disability group homes, day programs, and schools.
- Manage client caseloads assigned based on geographic proximity to the clinician's residence.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current general registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Proven experience and competence in performing autism assessments, a fundamental component of the position.
- Possession of a valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle for travel to client locations.
- Obligation to obtain or hold a National Police Clearance, Working With Children and/or Vulnerable People Check, as well as an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance prior to commencement.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in cognitive assessments and endorsement in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, or Educational and Developmental Psychology.
