Regional Sourcing Manager

Job Overview

Teamware Solutions is seeking an experienced Regional Sourcing Manager with specialized knowledge in apparel procurement involving both ethnic and western clothing lines. This full-time, onsite role is based in Ludhiana, Punjab, India, and requires immediate availability for face-to-face interviews.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete sourcing lifecycle including supplier evaluation, contract negotiations, and procurement workflows.
• Perform detailed market research and analyze spending data to inform and guide procurement strategies.
• Utilize industry-standard procurement platforms such as SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Oracle to streamline sourcing processes.
• Design and implement supplier management plans, regularly assess vendor performance, and maintain thorough documentation for procurement compliance.
• Oversee supplier sourcing, vetting, onboarding, and auditing to maximize cost savings, ensure timely deliveries, and uphold quality standards.
• Negotiate commercial contracts and handle Request for Quotes (RFQs) to safeguard profitability margins.
• Drive regional market localization aligning supply chain capacity with strategic business objectives to minimize landed costs and risks.
• Collaborate across departments including engineering, operations, and global category management to integrate sourcing approaches effectively.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or related disciplines.
• Extensive hands-on experience of 10 to 12 years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, specifically in the apparel sector.
• Proficient with procurement tools, ERP systems, and e-sourcing platforms; adept at interpreting supplier contracts and financial documents.
• Strong analytical capability to decipher complex spend data and evaluate expansive supplier performance metrics.
• Well-versed in procurement compliance, quality standards, and relevant industry regulations.
