About the Role
As the Regional Engineering Account Manager, you will oversee the engineering operations of a prestigious portfolio of office buildings in Singapore. This senior position involves directing how teams perform and how clients are served, with an emphasis on leadership and client engagement. The role requires travel among various Singapore sites to ensure smooth facility operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage engineering managers and specialized teams across multiple office locations.
- Address and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Recruit, mentor, and develop your engineering team.
- Serve as the primary liaison for clients on all engineering-related matters.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and strategic planning sessions with clients.
- Ensure reliable operation of building systems including HVAC, utilities, and controls.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and standards at all sites.
- Standardize maintenance procedures and plans across the portfolio.
- Oversee regional budgeting encompassing staffing, contractors, and service providers.
- Monitor and report performance against established KPIs and SLAs.
- Manage capital projects, upgrades, and modifications throughout the portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to enhance reliability, reduce energy consumption, and improve operational efficiency.
- Travel to various sites within Singapore as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Facilities, or related discipline) or equivalent experience.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience overseeing engineering services across multiple office sites.
- Experience with process manufacturing, cleanroom, or laboratory environments is a significant advantage.
- Background in managing engineering accounts or serving in senior technical leadership roles.
- Proven capability in team leadership including hiring, coaching, and performance management.
- Experience handling budget management responsibilities.
