Role Overview
We are seeking a diligent and enthusiastic Recruitment Coordinator to join our HR and recruitment team based in central Auckland. This full-time, permanent position involves engaging recruitment activities across various roles, including support workers, managers, and clinical and administrative staff, ensuring a dynamic and varied workload. You will play a pivotal role in recruiting individuals who best fit the needs of those we support, ultimately making a meaningful difference in the disabled community.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment process for open positions.
- Create and publish job advertisements to attract suitable candidates.
- Review applications, coordinate and assist in conducting interviews, and perform reference verifications.
- Maintain and update applicant and vacancy records and recruitment documentation.
- Collect, analyze, and report on recruitment and HR-related data and metrics.
- Participate in recruitment and HR projects focused on process improvements.
- Organize and participate in promotional events such as job fairs.
- Provide continuous support and on-site training to assigned hiring managers.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated enthusiasm for an ongoing career in recruitment.
- At least two years of relevant experience in recruitment, HR, customer service, call centers, sales, or administrative roles.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to excel in high-paced settings.
- Proficient in leveraging social media and networks to source candidates effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling trustworthy relationships with stakeholders.
- Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and recruitment platforms.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant tertiary education, such as diplomas or bachelor's degrees.
- Prior experience within disability, healthcare, or not-for-profit/community sectors.
- Familiarity with Snaphire and/or ICHRIS HR information systems is advantageous.
