Job description
About the Role
We are looking for a Recreation Receptionist to join our Vitality team in Doha. The successful candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling all reception tasks related to our health club, ensuring excellent service and smooth operation of the recreation facilities including pool, spa, and related amenities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all reservations, payments, and tracking processes for spa, pool, and recreation services while fostering a welcoming and friendly environment.
- Supervise massage bookings and manage locker keys and towels issuance and collection.
- Actively promote spa products, services, and activities to guests and members.
- Accurately post guest and member charges in the Micros system and follow correct accounting protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring availability of towels, newspapers, magazines, and promotional materials.
- Conduct periodic inspections of locker room cleanliness and orderliness.
- Drive sales by thoroughly understanding and communicating product details and pricing of all facilities.
- Operate safely and in an environmentally conscious manner, adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies of the hotel.
- Perform additional duties related to the position as assigned by the department head.
Candidate Profile and Skills
Candidates should possess basic literacy and numeracy along with proficient communication skills in English. Experience working in an international environment is beneficial.
- Fluent English communication skills required.
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
