Recreation Experience Expert

About the Role

Join the team as a key contributor to all recreational services provided on the property located at Shura Island, The Red Sea, Saudi Arabia. This role involves informing guests about available recreational amenities such as the swimming pool, beach, entertainment/game rooms, gym, and children's activity center. You will actively engage, recruit, and register guests for participation in recreational activities while creating an enjoyable and relaxing atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure guest awareness of recreational facility rules designed to maintain safety and wellbeing.
• Monitor activities, respond appropriately to emergencies as per local operational procedures, and provide first aid assistance until emergency services arrive.
• Operate cashier services for facilities involving sales or rentals, assist with private group events and functions hosted at recreational locations.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of recreational facilities, equipment, and supplies.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe work conditions to management promptly.
• Adhere to company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect company assets and confidential information.
• Welcome and respond to guest needs proactively, including assistance to individuals with disabilities, communicating clearly and professionally in person and on the phone.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to meet team objectives.
• Process payments for equipment rental, recreational activities, facility hire, and retail sales using point-of-sale systems.
• Engage in physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting objects up to 11 kg unassisted or more with help, maneuvering in various physical environments, and performing routine inspections of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• No prior experience required in related work or supervisory roles.
• Mandatory certifications including Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and First Aid.
• Knowledge and certification in physical fitness and recreational equipment handling.
• Compliance with all local and state required certifications and trainings.
