About the Role

Join the InterContinental Fujairah Resort, a distinguished luxury destination located on Al Aqah Beach under the scenic Hajjar Mountains in the UAE. As part of the world’s leading luxury hotel family, you will help craft sophisticated and warm guest experiences by leading recreational and entertainment activities that appeal to adults and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and deliver daily recreational and entertainment programs tailored for resort guests.
• Lead aquatic activities including Aqua Aerobics, Aqua Zumba, Aqua Gym, along with pool games and team-building exercises.
• Arrange and take part in diverse indoor and outdoor leisure events for individuals and families.
• Host evening social activities such as karaoke and interactive games to enhance guest enjoyment.
• Engage regularly with guests to maintain high interaction and satisfaction levels.
• Utilize effective communication skills to interact with a multicultural and multigenerational clientele.
• Oversee the recreational area ensuring all activities are executed safely and professionally.
• Support the coordination and supervision of the recreation team during daily operations.
• Ensure all equipment and activity setups are well-prepared, safe, and in excellent condition.
• Demonstrate high energy, creativity, and confidence while leading guest engagements.
• Perform additional related responsibilities as assigned by management.

Candidate Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience in animation or recreation within hotels or resorts, preferably in a five-star environment.
• Prior exposure to guest relations, entertainment, or recreational programming is advantageous.
• Adept at captivating and entertaining a diverse guest population across age groups and cultures.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in English speaking and writing; knowledge of other languages is a plus.
• Availability to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
