About Wynn Al Marjan Island
Wynn Al Marjan Island is set to become the first integrated resort in the UAE, planned to open in 2027 in Ras Al Khaimah, 50 miles from Dubai International Airport. Its offerings will include 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 dining venues, a theater, a beach club, multiple pools, a luxury spa and salon, retail promenade, and an events center.
Position Overview
We are seeking a Reception Manager for the Greek Restaurant to join the Food & Beverage team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional guest service, managing reception operations, and leading a dedicated team to uphold the high standards of Wynn and Forbes Travel Guide.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage guest communications before arrival, including reservations, preferences, special requests, and VIP arrangements.
- Review guest profiles and histories to anticipate needs and provide personalized service.
- Coordinate special events and VIP experiences collaboratively with management, culinary, and service teams.
- Ensure a welcoming, refined arrival experience consistent with Wynn and Forbes standards.
- Recognize and personally manage VIP, repeat, and high-profile guests, ensuring smooth transitions to service staff.
- Oversee reservations, waitlists, walk-ins, and queue management using systems like SevenRooms.
- Work with floor and culinary teams to optimize seating, occupancy rates, and guest wait times.
- Lead, schedule, mentor, and develop the reception team in guest engagement, conflict resolution, system use, and service excellence.
- Conduct daily briefings focusing on reservations, VIPs, special requests, and service flow to maintain anticipatory service.
- Capture guest feedback and preferences, assist with service recovery and follow-ups, and use insights to enhance guest experiences continually.
Candidate Profile
- 3 to 5 years of direct experience managing reception or front-of-house operations in fine dining restaurants, luxury hotels, or hospitality environments.
- Fluency in English with clear, professional communication skills for interactions with guests, colleagues, and management.
- Advanced proficiency in an additional language such as Arabic, Russian, French, Spanish, Japanese, Chinese, or Italian is a significant advantage.
- Experience working in international or multicultural hospitality settings, demonstrating adaptability and commitment to global service standards.
- Familiarity with Forbes Travel Guide 5-Star service standards and experience using SevenRooms platform is preferred.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively supervise staff, resolve guest issues, and create an inviting environment.
