Job description
Overview
Bin Yaala Exchange is seeking a skilled React Native Developer to join their team based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time, on-site role where the developer will take ownership of building, enhancing, and releasing a fintech mobile app aimed at international money transfer and currency exchange services.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications utilizing React Native and Expo frameworks.
- Oversee the complete mobile app release cycle including building, version management, code signing, and submitting the app to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Maintain and optimize mobile continuous integration and deployment pipelines using tools such as EAS Build, GitHub Actions, and Fastlane.
- Collaborate effectively with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences across iOS and Android devices.
- Identify and fix app performance issues, crashes, and platform-specific bugs.
- Enhance application architecture, improve code quality, maintainability, and overall developer assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Between 2 to 5 years of practical experience working with React Native.
- Strong expertise in TypeScript with ability to maintain clean, strongly-typed codebases.
- Proficiency using Expo and EAS for app development and deployment.
- Experience with Zustand for managing client-side state and TanStack Query (React Query) for server state handling.
- Hands-on experience managing mobile CI/CD processes.
- Proven track record of personally publishing mobile apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
- Comprehensive understanding of app signing, certificates, provisioning profiles, and store submission and review protocols.
- Familiarity with AI development assistance tools such as Claude or Cursor.
Preferred Skills
- Background in native mobile development with Swift and/or Kotlin, particularly for creating or debugging native modules.
- Experience developing or using AI agents for automating software development workflows.
- Knowledge of mobile app performance profiling, analytics, and crash-report tools.
- Experience working within fintech, payments, remittance, or other high-availability mobile applications.
