Job description

Overview

The position is part of the R&D GBS Knowledge Management team based in Hyderabad, aiming to enhance knowledge management capabilities within the organization. The role focuses on gathering and storing various documents including project outcomes and market research, systematically cataloging information, and regularly sharing knowledge with relevant stakeholders. This role supports PepsiCo's R&D division, particularly concerning product lines such as foods, food ingredients, nutrition, packaging materials, food processing, and associated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with global R&D stakeholders to identify knowledge management requirements and implement solutions such as managing Communities of Practice through websites, wikis, portal pages, SharePoint, and digital libraries.
  • Take ownership of the business process for documenting R&D project learnings using structured methods to capture both explicit and implicit knowledge, making it accessible via an enterprise-wide searchable repository.
  • Ensure timely processing, documentation, and delivery of all requests adhering to predetermined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Organize and archive documents within a defined framework, collaborating with stakeholders for cataloging findings appropriately.
  • Test, deploy, and maintain internal knowledge repositories and shared information platforms.
  • Distribute accumulated knowledge from previous periods to relevant parties regularly via communications, dashboards such as Power BI, and other channels.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with expert skills in SharePoint.
  • Highly detail-focused with excellent organizational and communication abilities for documenting project details and learnings.
  • Strong grasp of knowledge management principles, content/request management, digital content curation, indexing, cataloging, and development of taxonomies or controlled vocabularies, including automated document creation and metadata tagging.
  • Effective multitasking and time management skills to handle multiple priorities and ensure timely completion of requests.
  • Experience in a large global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) firm or related sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, or life sciences, with understanding of CPG/food/beverage performance metrics.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Bachelor's degree mandatory; qualifications in computer science, library science, business, or related fields are highly advantageous. Experience in librarianship or library science is a plus.
  • Between one to five years of relevant professional experience.
