As part of our commitment to creating opportunities, we invite you to be a part of our Smith's Snackfood Company team as a Raw Materials Operator on the day shift at Regency Park, South Australia.
This is a full-time permanent position working Monday through Thursday from 6:00am to 2:30pm and on Fridays from 6:00am to 12 noon.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, including high reach and counterbalance models, with a minimum of two years hands-on experience.
- Handle order picking and wrapping, palletizing, managing incoming and outgoing materials, assisting in warehouse and inventory tasks.
- Use SAP software to manage inventory efficiently.
- Collect and review data as well as complete necessary documentation for goods received.
- Carry out basic operations in the Oil Tank Farm including unloading liquid and grain bulk carriers.
- Take part in audits and inspections to maintain standards.
- Perform cleaning and sanitation duties for equipment and workspaces.
Qualifications and Skills
- Possession of a valid forklift license with practical operating experience.
- Proficiency in computer use, preferably with familiarity in SAP systems.
- Capability to prioritize and organize multiple tasks safely and professionally.
- Strong communication abilities including reading comprehension and numerical skills.
