About the Role

IIQAF Group is currently hiring a Radiographer to join their hospital team in Dubai, UAE. The position is full-time and involves operating radiographic equipment to perform diagnostic imaging exams that assist physicians and radiologists in patient diagnosis and treatment management.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic X-ray and other radiographic examinations based on referrals from physicians or radiologists.
• Verify patient identification and confirm exam details against clinical information before procedures.
• Prepare and educate patients about radiographic procedures in a clear and professional manner.
• Ensure accurate patient positioning for high-quality diagnostic images while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
• Operate various imaging equipment including digital radiography (DR), computed radiography (CR), and X-ray machines.
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with radiologists, doctors, nurses, and healthcare team members.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with relevant hospital policies on medical records and data.
• Handle urgent and emergency imaging requests in line with hospital protocols.
• Adhere strictly to UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, radiation safety standards, and professional codes of conduct.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a Bachelor's degree, diploma, or equivalent recognized qualification in Radiography, Medical Imaging, Diagnostic Radiography, or related disciplines.
• Hold a valid professional license or registration to practice as a Radiographer in the UAE.
• Have prior professional experience as a Radiographer, Diagnostic Radiographer, Radiologic Technologist, or similar role.
• Demonstrated competence in performing diagnostic X-ray and radiographic exams.
• Comprehensive understanding of radiographic positioning, exposure settings, image quality evaluation, and radiation protection techniques.
• Familiarity with digital imaging systems and healthcare technologies used in radiography.
• Experience working in hospitals, diagnostic centers, clinics, or comparable medical facilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of medical information systems such as PACS, RIS, and digital image management platforms is advantageous.
• Completion of current radiation protection and healthcare safety training is desirable.
• Awareness of infection control protocols and patient safety measures.

• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and communicate professionally within healthcare teams.
