Job Overview
This full-time position, reporting to the Department Supervisor in Garden Grove, CA, is focused on preparing parts for production and supporting operators during the process. The role operates on the 1st shift and involves handling the physical aspects of racking parts according to production priorities and specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish job priorities to begin preparation for production processing.
- Choose suitable racking methods based on size, shape, and quantity of parts.
- Attach objects to racks or hoists using wires or clips for processing.
- Remove components from racks or bars once processing is complete.
- Complete required documentation per company and processing procedures.
- Adhere to safety regulations and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) consistently.
- Maintain cleanliness by disposing of unnecessary trash and wires appropriately.
- Ensure correct disposal of hazardous waste materials.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Candidate Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent mandatory.
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull weights between 50 to 75 pounds regularly.
- Must be physically active and capable of wearing required PPE.
- Ability to see well and handle tactile tasks accurately.
