Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to painters by handling tasks that do not involve direct paint spraying.
• Prepare parts through manual sanding and cleaning with solvents to ensure surfaces are ready for coating.
• Accurately mix various primers and topcoat paints, both chromate-based and non-chromated.
• Document progress by completing work orders and maintaining records throughout the painting process.
• Monitor and record oven conditions including temperatures to ensure process quality.
• Maintain cleanliness of the paint area through sweeping and other housekeeping duties.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols, including wearing protective gear such as masks and appropriate clothing.
• Handle hazardous materials responsibly, complying with relevant local and federal guidelines.
• Undertake additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Compensation

Wage ranges between $16.00 and $18.00 per hour.

This role requires access to sensitive technical data regulated by the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment is contingent upon verification that candidates meet ITAR compliance.
