Role & Responsibilities

• Execute detailed quantity estimations and contract management in construction or infrastructure projects with a focus on measurements, valuations, and claims.
• Perform comprehensive quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings to develop Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and assess changes or variations.
• Prepare monthly progress valuation reports, interim payment certificates, and final account statements for billing purposes, coordinating closely with the Project Manager.
• Review and verify subcontractor and vendor invoices against contracted quantities and terms, certifying payments as appropriate.
• Oversee contract administration including monitoring variations, change orders, and claims, while drafting necessary documentation for approvals.
• Regularly visit project sites to verify work progress, reconcile material consumption, and compile accurate measurement sheets.
• Generate and submit variation orders backed by detailed cost breakdowns and supporting documents for client or consultant approval.
• Track project spending against budgets and prepare cost reports outlining any deviations for review by the Project Manager and General Manager.
• Maintain well-organized financial records, contractual documents, measurement data, and related correspondence for all quantity surveying activities.
• Verify quantity surveying submissions from junior engineers to ensure completeness and accuracy before final approval.
• Communicate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors regarding measurements, valuations, and contractual claims.
• Utilize MS Excel and AutoCAD proficiently for quantity measurements and take-off exercises.

Requirements

• Possess between 2 to 10 years of experience in quantity surveying and contract administration within the construction or infrastructure domain.
• Excellent knowledge and practical skills in measurements, valuations, and claims handling.
• Mandatory proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD software for measurement tasks.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech / B.E.) is required.
• Preference is given to male candidates.
