Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with quantitative researchers to iterate on and enhance trading strategies.
- Design, build, and maintain Python-driven tools used for research and data analysis.
- Improve and optimize simulation frameworks and backtesting processes.
- Oversee and maintain quantitative research workflows and job executions.
- Provide support to global research teams, with a focus on the APAC regions.
Candidate Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is mandatory.
- Proven expertise in Python programming.
- Experience with data manipulation and statistics libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or Polars.
- Strong analytical problem-solving capabilities to thrive in a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
- Excellent skills in communication and teamwork.
- Preferred but not required: background in C++ programming.
- Knowledge of scripting languages like Bash is a plus.
- Familiarity with workflow orchestration or task scheduling systems is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of financial markets would be beneficial.
