Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Quantitative Analyst to join our Quantitative Dealing team, responsible for developing, verifying, and deploying data-driven models to deepen our insight into client behaviors, market trends, and trading activities. The role entails converting trading and business inquiries into solid analytical strategies, scalable data pipelines, and production-ready models. Close collaboration with the Quantitative Dealing team and other departments is essential, balancing thorough research with practical implementation on large-scale financial and trading datasets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate clear research hypotheses from trading/business queries and develop measurable analytical solutions.
  • Employ Python, PySpark, and SQL to gather, transform, and analyze extensive datasets from diverse trading systems.
  • Engineer and document reliable features from transactional, market, and operational data.
  • Apply statistical, machine-learning, and AI techniques to detect significant patterns and produce useful insights.
  • Assess model accuracy, robustness, and interpretability; communicate limitations and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Build scalable data workflows and models within AWS infrastructure using tools such as Glue, SageMaker, and Athena.
  • Assist in enhancing analytics tools, data pipelines, and model workflows continuously.
  • Collaborate with Data Analysts and stakeholders to ensure data integrity and support complex analytical initiatives.
  • Contribute to crucial desk projects including client profiling and market regime identification.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • 3 to 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, data science, machine learning, or quantitative research roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis, modeling, feature creation, automation, and building production-level workflows.
  • Strong SQL skills for manipulating large and complex datasets.
  • Experience with distributed computing frameworks like PySpark.
  • Proven ability in constructing and evaluating predictive models using supervised and unsupervised machine learning.
  • In-depth understanding of statistical modeling, time-series analysis, model validation, and practical considerations for deployment.
  • Familiarity with financial market datasets, particularly FX, CFD, or brokerage data is highly preferred.
  • Experience integrating large language models (LLMs) into data and analytics workflows, including knowledge of their evaluation and limitations.
  • Capable of deciphering and reconstructing complex trading and system event sequences into consistent analytical logic.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to present technical findings clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with MetaQuotes MT4/MT5 trading databases and data structures.
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS analytics services such as Glue, Data Catalog, Athena, and SageMaker.
  • Background in applying machine learning on client, market, or financial datasets.
  • Familiarity with model governance including monitoring, reproducibility, version control, testing, and documentation.
  • Understanding of brokerage functions like dealing operations, liquidity management, risk, and profit & loss reporting.
  • Experience crafting analytical products or decision-support tools used by various business functions.
  • A strong personal interest in financial markets demonstrated through study or practical experience.
  • Degree in a quantitative field such as mathematics, statistics, computer science, physics, financial engineering, or equivalent.
