Role Summary
The Quality Specialist will drive the deployment of the Quality Management System (QMS) aligned with ISO 9001. You will develop capabilities to control products and systems ensuring they meet customer, internal, and regulatory requirements in a cost-effective and safe environment. Your daily work involves balancing prevention strategies, continuous improvement, root cause analysis, rapid responses, and delivering enduring problem resolutions. Collaboration with internal departments that influence quality outcomes is key to achieve divisional targets and world-class performance levels.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all activities required for implementing QMS standards within your scope.
- Continuously identify and manage quality risks and improvement opportunities locally.
- Monitor and report on quality metrics ensuring compliance with QMS at every stage.
- Conduct internal audits and analyze quality data across operations, suppliers, and customers to detect risks and non-conformities.
- Support corrective and preventive action processes and ensure effective resolution.
- Provide quality-related training and assist teams in creating controlled and efficient processes.
- Guide resolution of customer issues through thorough root cause analysis and implementation of preventive and corrective measures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Extensive knowledge and practical experience in quality management systems and methodologies including ISO 9001, Internal Auditing, Six Sigma, or Lean.
- Minimum of 8 years experience in implementing QMS, preferably in power system manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in QMS software and relevant data analytics tools.
- Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and dedication to continuous improvement and problem-solving.
- Degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a similar field.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work extended hours to meet urgent business needs.
