Job Location and Schedule

The position is based in Sitapura, Jaipur with a six-day working week.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct the Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) operations throughout the fine jewelry manufacturing cycle.
  • Promote ongoing quality enhancements targeting defect reduction, elevated customer satisfaction, and increased production efficiency.
  • Create, execute, and uphold quality management systems and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform systematic quality assessments at all stages including incoming materials, in-process production, and final output.
  • Supervise quality parameters during casting, filing, assembly, soldering, polishing, stone setting, finishing, and packaging processes.
  • Identify the causes of quality issues and coordinate the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Examine data on product rejection, rework, repairs, and customer feedback to discover improvement areas.
  • Set up quality control points and inspection guidelines relevant to each manufacturing phase.
  • Approve initial samples, pilot production batches, and authorise final product release.
  • Ensure all jewelry dimensions, weight, finish, polish quality, soldering, stone placement, and overall craftsmanship meet the defined standards.
  • Provide training programs for production and quality teams on inspection benchmarks, strategies to avoid defects, and fostering quality consciousness.

Candidate Profile

  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in jewelry manufacturing.
  • Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Engineering, Manufacturing, Metallurgy, Quality Management, or relevant disciplines.
  • Having certifications such as Quality Management, Six Sigma, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, or equivalent qualifications is advantageous.
  • Additional credentials in jewelry manufacturing or gemology enhance suitability.
  • Strong leadership capabilities are essential.
