Quality Engineer

About the Role

Shuaa Steel invites applications for the position of Quality Engineer at our Saudi Arabia facility. The selected candidate will oversee quality assurance and control processes during steel fabrication and manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to standards and enhancing product quality.

Key Duties

• Perform inspections on materials and oversee fabrication activities to confirm compliance with approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Supervise welding, fabrication, assembly, and finishing stages in the production line.
• Carry out inspections at various production phases and maintain detailed records of inspection outcomes.
• Detect and report deviations or non-conformities, ensuring follow-up on corrective measures.
• Prepare and uphold quality inspection documentation and related reports.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet quality objectives.
• Ensure all quality assurance practices and safety regulations are rigorously followed.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering field.
• Have at least three years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance roles.
• Preferably have experience within steel fabrication and metal manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrate familiarity with welding, fabrication, inspection protocols, and quality control systems.
• Able to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation effectively.
• Exhibit strong skills in maintaining accurate documentation and reports.
• Detail-oriented with solid problem-solving capabilities.
• Must currently reside in Saudi Arabia.
