Job Overview
Reporting to a Singapore-based Supervisor, the Quality Control Inspector role involves inspecting PCBA assemblies, conducting product audits, and ensuring adherence to quality standards across production stages. The position offers opportunities to work on shifts in an SMT environment, with transportation arranged from key MRT stations.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out inspections on PCBA assemblies identifying and distinguishing defects effectively.
- Conduct product inspections and audits within quality control programs.
- Perform inspections on packaging lines and manufacturing processes, sampling incoming components and raw materials.
- Verify that raw materials, in-process items, and final products comply with company quality standards.
- Review draft and final label copies with knowledge of relevant labelling regulations.
- Work to reduce production downtime by minimizing rework and product recalls.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
- At least a secondary education diploma or equivalent.
- A minimum of one year operating experience within an SMT production setting.
- Willingness to work shifts or standard shift hours as required.
- Ability to commute to a west-side location with pick-up points at Jurong East and Lakeside MRT stations.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with computer systems and SAP software is advantageous.
