Quality Control Editor with German Language Skills

About the Role

This role is based in London at 22 Bishopsgate in the City of London, with a hybrid work model requiring some onsite presence. We are looking for a Quality Control Editor experienced in Points of Interest (POI) editing for online maps, with 1-3 years of relevant experience. The candidate should have a strong understanding of QA/QC processes and technological familiarity with online mapping services.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a foundational understanding of end-user operational and online map applications including navigation and information usage.
• Manage multiple pilot projects in the online maps domain, adapting to evolving technical requirements and diverse workspaces.
• Adapt quickly to a dynamic and fast-changing work environment.
• Strictly comply with company policies while maintaining high productivity and efficiency.
• Operate effectively within a shift-based hybrid working schedule.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in any discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of POI editing experience.
• 1 to 3 years of quality control experience in a related field.
• Collaborate closely with team leads, SMEs, and editors to communicate and uphold quality standards.
• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
• Competency in identifying errors and performing qualitative analysis to validate all attributes of sampled L1 tickets, ensuring adherence to defined specifications and policies.
• Guarantee the precision of curated POI information by cross-referencing multiple data sources such as websites and imagery.
• Proficient written and oral communication capabilities.
• Ability to gather accurate data through online research.
• Comfortable with performance evaluation against measurable metrics.
• Participate in periodic sessions with peers and trainers to review policies.
• Familiarity with MS Excel or Quip Spreadsheets is advantageous.
• Fluency in the German language is mandatory for this role.
