Quality Assurance Technician

Overview

This role involves inspecting and ensuring quality processes while contributing to environmental preservation efforts as part of a green job supporting Canada's net-zero goals.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections of processes to ensure standards are met.
• Set controls for machines and equipment appropriately.
• Conduct work measurement and other study activities for process improvement.
• Gather and compile operational and experimental data accurately.
• Analyze data samples and prepare relevant reports and documentation.
• Assist with estimating, scheduling, and specifying project details.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings effectively.

Skills and Tools

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Windows operating system.
• Experience with laser levelling and alignment machinery.

Additional Information

• This position requires a criminal record check.
• Applicants must have access to their own vehicle and willingness to travel both domestically and internationally; travel expenses are reimbursed.
• The work environment is fast-paced and may require managing tight deadlines and handling heavy loads.
• Physical demands include extended periods of standing, sitting, walking, and the ability to distinguish colors and sounds.
• Requirement to use personal protective equipment such as steel-toed safety boots.
