Quality Assurance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and uphold quality management protocols specific to warehouse activities.
• Ensure strict compliance with organizational Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), client requirements, and established quality benchmarks.
• Supervise warehouse operations to confirm adherence to quality procedures and detailed work instructions.
• Regularly review, update, and maintain quality-related documentation and records in coordination with the corporate Quality team.
• Conduct comprehensive quality inspections of incoming, outgoing, and stored inventory.
• Oversee the verification of product condition, accurate labeling, proper packaging, and compliant storage methods.
• Detect, document, and report any quality deviations, non-conformities, or process discrepancies promptly.
• Ensure correct segregation and disposition processes are followed for any damaged, expired, or sub-standard products.
• Support and comply with relevant standards such as ISO, Good Distribution Practice (GDP), Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), and unique customer protocols where applicable.
• Monitor key quality performance indicators and operational compliance metrics to track effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed quality reports and present insights to management teams for decision-making.
• Manage corrective action processes, ensuring that identified issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
• Keep precise quality and audit records for ongoing reference and evaluation.
• Conduct training sessions to raise quality awareness and reinforce SOP adherence within warehouse teams.
• Guide operational staff on quality requirements and best practice standards consistently.
• Lead initiatives for continuous improvement aimed at optimizing processes and minimizing quality-related problems.
• Champion a strong culture of quality and compliance across all warehouse functions.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fields.
• Have a minimum of 2 to 5 years’ experience in quality assurance, warehouse management, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Exposure to ISO 9001 standards, GDP, GMP, or experience in regulated environments is favorable.
• Experience with audit processes and conducting quality investigations is preferred.
