Primary Duties

• Inspect raw materials, ingredients, and packaging prior to production release as per verification protocols.
• Oversee pest control records and coordinate with pest control service providers.
• Collect various samples including raw materials, packaging, air, water, and surface swabs and deliver to the in-house laboratory.
• Verify that cleaning processes for production lines are correctly followed.
• Ensure adherence to quality procedures by monitoring processes through observation or other verification methods.
• Provide technical support to production teams on Critical Control Points, covering aspects like identification, timing, and methods.
• Review records to confirm corrective actions align with the quality program requirements.
• Promote and facilitate quality program implementation, recommending improvements when necessary.
• Guide corrective actions whenever deviations in production arise.
• Check monitoring and verification records are maintained according to schedule.
• Report non-conformities promptly and advise suitable corrective measures.
• Assist in the implementation of the Food Safety & Quality Management System.
• Analyze Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) of chemicals used onsite for compliance and suitability.
• Liaise with external service providers such as pest control, cleaning, and laundry services.
• Support external providers with sample collection as needed.
• Conduct quality checks and routings as dictated by the quality system.
• Deliver Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) training—including refresher, induction sessions—for staff, contractors, service providers, and visitors, in addition to other technical training.
• Provide field-specific training if required, including topics like allergens and CCP.
• Maintain documentation related to supplier approvals and other system-required records.
• Adhere strictly to the BRF Sustainability Policy and support the Sustainability Plan by engaging in routine activities promoting environmental, social, and governance compliance aligned with the company’s ESG commitments.

Candidate Profile

• Holds a Bachelor’s degree or a 3-year Diploma in Food Technology, Veterinary Sciences, Biochemical Engineering, or Chemistry.
• Possesses at least two years of relevant work experience.
• Has intermediate proficiency in English.
• Understands quality standards such as HACCP, GMP, food microbiology, and biochemistry principles.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including PowerPoint.
• Currently located in Jeddah or willing to relocate there.
