Job Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve all mechanical breakdowns within assigned responsibility areas.
• Conduct routine checks and maintenance to keep equipment in satisfactory condition.
• Maintain high standards for mechanical operations and quality control.
• Follow corrective, preventive, scheduled maintenance, and Kanban processes diligently.
• Adhere strictly to workplace safety procedures and guidelines (HSE).
• Collaborate with the maintenance team on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure the correct handling and management of chemical products.
• Comply with food safety standards including HACCP requirements and prerequisites.
• Maintain compliance with all HSE regulations at the workplace.
• Uphold GMP and 5S standards within the work environment.
• Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices, Food Defense directives, and other operational protocols.
• Minimize mean time to repair (MTTR) by being actively present on the production lines.
• Analyze anomalies and complete maintenance notifications (M1, M2, M3) accurately in the preventive maintenance (PM) system and verify orders.
• Report faults and determine needs for overhauls, maintenance plans, and spare parts.
• Develop training lesson plans for troubleshooting major issues using root cause analysis (RCA).
• Engage with original equipment manufacturers (OEM) to resolve spare parts and critical technical issues.
• Provide multi-skilled support for maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, including mechanical handling equipment (MHE), automation, and motors.
• Serve as backup to immediate supervisor as required.
• Assist with team development plans and training programs.
• Independently perform overhauls on equipment, motors, switchgears, and other factory components.
• Identify local support options, localize spare parts, and propose cost-saving ideas.
• Implement BRF's Sustainability Policy and contribute to the company's environmental, social, and governance (ESG) commitments through practical actions promoting sustainable development within the BRF value chain.

Educational Background

Completion of a two-year technical course in Mechanical Trade or a related discipline is required.
