Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Quality Assurance Engineer position located in Dubai involves designing, documenting, and executing test cases to verify the software and systems applied within MEP and building services projects. Key duties encompass manual testing, defect tracking, confirmation of fixes, and ensuring all outputs comply with quality benchmarks and regulatory standards. The role requires collaboration with project managers, software developers, and MEP engineers to understand functional needs, clarify specifications, and facilitate timely project completion. Contributing to ongoing enhancements of quality assurance processes, maintaining detailed test documentation, and supporting audits and compliance checks form integral aspects of this role.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Demonstrated expertise in Quality Assurance, including defining quality standards and collaborating with teams to enforce them.
• Practical experience conducting manual test executions and software or system testing activities.
• Skillful in designing, updating, and improving test cases for functional, integration, and regression testing purposes.
• Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and lifecycle management.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with QA processes in construction, MEP, building services, or industrial system environments is advantageous.
• Competence in utilizing test management and defect tracking software tools, combined with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and oral, suitable for working on-site with diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Exceptional attention to detail coupled with a commitment to safety, compliance, and proactive quality improvement.
