Job description
Job Overview
We are looking for a meticulous and organized Quality Assistant to join our Quality Control team. The role involves supporting quality assurance processes to maintain superior product standards, identifying faults, and aiding in corrective measures.
Primary Duties
- Support execution of quality audits and inspections
- Oversee production activities for adherence to quality criteria
- Spot and log defects or deviations
- Keep precise documentation and generate relevant reports
- Coordinate with production personnel to address quality challenges
- Help calibrate and upkeep quality control tools and equipment
- Engage in initiatives for ongoing process enhancement
Candidate Profile
- Completion of high school or equivalent (12th Science/ITI) or fresher
- Ability to work effectively within a team
- Comfortable operating in a high-paced manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of quality management frameworks, including ISO 9001, and industry standards
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, or related field
- Certifications in quality control such as CQA or CQE
- Experience using quality control software and tools
Work Environment
- Industrial setting with exposure to operational noise and machinery
- Physical demands include frequent walking, standing, and manual lifting
