Role Overview
This opportunity is for a full-time, on-site Qualified Locksmith position located in Melbourne CBD. The role involves installation, repair, and servicing of locks along with associated security hardware. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing lock malfunctions, conducting maintenance and repairs, and guaranteeing that all work complies with safety and regulatory requirements. Additionally, the locksmith will engage directly with clients to assess their security needs and advise on suitable solutions.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Demonstrated expertise in locksmithing tasks such as installation, repair, and servicing of security locks.
- Possession of a recognised locksmith certification, trade qualification, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of security hardware, keying systems, and safety/compliance protocols.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, keen attention to detail, and a strong commitment to delivering quality workmanship.
- Proficient communication skills and a professional approach to customer service during on-site engagements.
- Must hold a valid Working with ChildrenCheck.
