Job description
Role Overview
This position requires implementing and upholding the Quality Management System specific to the project implementation. The individual will conduct thorough inspections, testing, and audits of civil site activities to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain inspection test plans, quality control plans, and checklists tailored to civil engineering tasks.
- Collaborate actively with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to assure quality deliverables and swiftly resolve any identified non-conformances.
- Manage coordination with vendors and subcontractors to verify supplier quality and adherence to contractual agreements.
- Analyze collected quality data, prepare detailed reports including non-conformance reports (NCRs), and propose appropriate corrective action plans.
- Support root cause analysis activities and implement corrective and preventive measures for quality concerns.
- Ensure all site activities conform to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
- Engage in project quality meetings and maintain effective communication with quality personnel and third-party inspectors.
- Maintain comprehensive quality documentation and ensure records are managed according to project and corporate regulations.
- Possess familiarity with QCS 2014/2024 standards, Shell DEP requirements, and QPAD guidelines.
