We operate over 300 New World, PAK’nSAVE, and Four Square stores across New Zealand’s North Island with a team of 27,000+ employees. Our Support Centre employs more than 1,500 people including over 500 IT staff who maintain and enhance our technology systems to support our business.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for a 12-month fixed-term contract to join our Quality Engineering Practice. In this position, you will work with Agile SAP delivery teams and report to a Quality Assurance Lead to ensure SAP solutions are robust, scalable, and deliver meaningful business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, plan, and perform functional, integration, regression, and release testing for SAP systems.
- Conduct testing of Materials Management (MM) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes, covering purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice verification, and inventory management.
- Test integration points between SAP and other systems, including APIs, IDocs, interface queues, and warehouse logistics inbound/outbound flows.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects until resolution.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Functional Consultants, SAP Developers, and business units to validate readiness for releases.
- Support SAP test automation initiatives using TOSCA where automation offers sustainable improvements.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience testing SAP MM and end-to-end P2P procurement cycles.
- Exposure to test automation tools, preferably TOSCA.
- Comfortable working in Agile environments with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with test management applications such as HP ALM, qTest, Xray, Zephyr, or TestRail.
- Experience using collaboration/documentation platforms like Confluence or SharePoint.

Additional Information
