Role Overview

The People Systems Data Lead will play a pivotal role in the Employee Experience Programme, a cooperative-wide initiative aimed at simplifying and modernizing people and payroll systems. This role involves establishing reliable and high-quality people data foundations, enabling insightful workforce reporting and strong data governance for future strategy. The position reports directly to the Head of People Systems and includes managing a small team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the people data segment of the Employee Experience programme and oversee its transition to ongoing business operations.
• Drive governance, quality assurance, reporting, and master data management activities related to people data across the organization.
• Collaborate with People & Capability, Payroll, IT, and Finance departments to guarantee accessible, reliable, and fit-for-purpose people data.
• Develop insightful workforce analytics and reports to aid strategic decisions.
• Mentor internal capabilities in people data and seek opportunities to incorporate automation, analytics, and AI advancements.

Candidate Profile

• Strong enthusiasm for transforming data into actionable insights that enhance employee experiences.
• Expertise in navigating complex challenges and influencing various stakeholders within broad transformation projects.
• Extensive experience working with HR systems, people analytics, and reporting platforms like SAP, SuccessFactors, payroll systems, and Power BI or their equivalents.
• Comprehensive knowledge of data governance practices, quality control, and master data management.
• Leadership experience guiding and developing team members.
• Proven track record of delivering people data initiatives in large-scale transformation programmes.
• Ability to utilize data insights for monitoring readiness, adoption, risk management, and guiding delivery choices.
• Passion for continuous improvement with emerging technologies including automation and artificial intelligence.
