Python Engineer with Flask, FastAPI and Banking Domain Expertise

Role Overview

We are inviting applications for an experienced Python Engineer to become part of our vibrant team. The successful candidate will focus on developing sturdy web frameworks, creating backend services for efficient dataset delivery, and executing data transformations to enable our data-centric applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Python with Flask and FastAPI frameworks.
• Design scalable, observable, and extensible applications and microservices aligned with architecture standards.
• Optimize I/O and concurrency handling using asynchronous programming methods like asyncio.
• Ensure best security practices in APIs including authentication and authorization mechanisms such as OAuth and JWT.
• Analyze and enhance system performance through debugging, tuning, and monitoring activities.
• Collaborate in all SDLC phases with adherence to Agile methodologies.
• Support CI/CD pipeline execution and troubleshoot distributed service ecosystems.
• Research and implement cutting-edge technologies for continued architectural excellence.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least five years of hands-on experience in Python API development with a focus on microservices architecture.
• Proficient with web frameworks including Flask, FastAPI and Django for RESTful API creation.
• Strong expertise in database technologies such as MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Capability in multiprocessing, load balancing, and integrating AI models.
• Good knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes (preferred).
• Familiarity with distributed system resiliency and production monitoring.
• Solid understanding of secure coding standards, unit testing, and detailed technical documentation.
• Background in banking, finance, or fintech sectors in enterprise environments is highly desired.

Additional Information

The role demands working onsite in Dubai with immediate joining preferred. Candidates should have familiarity with modern Python versions (3.6+) and experience in asynchronous I/O and concurrent connection handling. A sound grasp of microservices security implementations using API gateways is essential.
