Python Developer with Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Python Developer with substantial experience working on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This position is suited for professionals having between 6 to 12 years of software development expertise. The role involves designing, building, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud solutions leveraging Python and GCP technologies. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with architects, product teams, DevOps, and various stakeholders to deliver high-performance, secure cloud applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect, code, test, and sustain scalable Python-based applications.
• Create RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend systems employing Python frameworks including FastAPI, Flask, and Django.
• Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
• Utilize diverse GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud SQL, and Secret Manager.
• Manage application monitoring and logging with GCP tools.
• Implement containerization practices with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Automate deployment pipelines through continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable Python code and optimize database interactions both for relational and NoSQL systems.
• Integrate applications with various cloud services, APIs, and third-party platforms.
• Diagnose and resolve production issues via root-cause analysis.
• Engage in code reviews, technical designs, and architectural discussions to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain focus on application security, scalability, availability, and overall performance.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
