Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Python Developer with 6 to 10 years of comprehensive software development background, specifically with robust expertise in Python programming. The ideal candidate will have solid experience utilizing the Django framework to create scalable, secure web applications and a strong grasp of RESTful API design and integration.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain web applications using Python and Django to ensure scalability and security.
- Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs and related services for seamless integration.
- Apply knowledge of SQL and database principles to optimize application data management.
- Engage throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to ensure quality and efficiency in application delivery.
- Troubleshoot, perform performance tuning, and provide support for production environments.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 6 years and up to 10 years in software development with substantive Python programming expertise.
- Proven experience working with the Django framework for web application development.
- Strong understanding of REST API concepts and integration techniques.
- Good grasp of SQL, databases, and general application development practices.
- Experience in application integration, debugging, and performance enhancement strategies.
- Prior work experience within the Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance sectors is advantageous.
